Origins

At the end of the 1940s, an ancestor of the Cervo family, Costantino Cervo, set up one of the first animal-powered oil mills in Caiazzo. His son Giuseppe, who had inherited his strong passion, built a mechanized oil mill in 1950 which, in compliance with his precise desire for continuity of the family tradition over time, passed to his son-in-law Marco Mondrone.
From the Cervo family to Marco Mondrone and children: passion that is handed down from generation to generation, tradition that continues over time, desire to grow by pursuing quality.
The birth of a great Artisan Extra Virgin Olive Oil involves a long journey full of considerable commitment, vast experience and great passion: only these elements ensure a high quality product. “We have always been convinced that a good oil comes from excellent workmanship and great skills, but above all from a very good raw material”.
